The Hotel La Vela is a little castle built at the end of 19th century on the quiet green area slightly on the hill at about ten minutes walk from the centre of Santa Margherita Ligure and only 4 km. From Portofino. Its wonderful sight-seeing is extended all over the Tigullio Gulf, from Sestri Levante to Portofino and through the Cinque Terre until La Spezia. There are 14 classical style rooms (some with sea view) with ensuite bathroom, tv, telephone and air conditioning.
